One of the great challenges of my independent candidacy for governor will be connecting with the number of Wisconsinites that will be required to win this election. I begin with no name recognition as a politician.  I am not backed by a party or any other big money funder.  I believe my candidacy will be a test of whether ideas, character, competence and courage can triumph over the established political machinery.  I am convinced that many of you are feeling exactly as I am about the state of our country.  I intend to provide you a leadership alternative that will get things moving in the right direction for a society whose people are free and whose government exists to protect their freedoms.

 

 I plan to travel throughout our state to meet as many of you in person as I can between now and the election.  In the meantime, I am sharing some of my views on some of today’s most talked about topics. I will always tell you the truth about how I feel about any issue and will never have my finger in the wind to see which way it’s blowing.  You will always know where I stand.  I hope my thoughts resonate with you and that they provoke further thinking and conversation.
